Vintage 9ct Claddagh ring

Fabulous vintage 9ct Claddagh ring. Claddagh rings originated in Ireland and always depict a heart held by two hands with a crown on top of the heart. The heart symbolises love, the clasped hands friendship and the crown loyalty. This particular Claddagh ring is inscribed round the band of the ring, the words read ‘ With my two hands I give you my heart and crown it with my love’.
